The purpose of this overview document is to give you a highlight of the core features that are included in this release along with additional improvements and fixes that were also made.
HIGHLIGHTS OF NEW FEATURES
MULTIPLE SHIPPING OPTIONS CONFIGURATION
Users are now able to set up multiple shipping options in the dedicated shipping dashboard where they set up shipping classes and zones. While setting up zones, we can now configure 3 service types; Standard, Expedited, and Premium. This allows the user to configure an estimated time delivery range for each type as well as dedicated shipping costs per type. This will allow visitors on their stores to select a pre-configured service type if it is set by the store owner. For each zone, the user can configure up to 3 pre-configured service types.
2. IF CONFIGURED, MULTIPLE SHIPPING OPTIONS IN CHECKOUT
Store visitors can now select the delivery options that are configured in step 2 of the checkout process. Depending on what is configured by the store owner, the visitor can choose a delivery option that displays information such as the type of delivery, the range of days in regards to that type, and the price. There is also date information for which the order should be received by per shipping type.
HIGHLIGHTS OF IMPROVEMENT & FIXES
MCAFEE INTEGRATION
Some users were having issues while integrating with McAfee. This was also causing the McAfee Badge to not display on store pages. This issue has been resolved.
AND A FEW OTHER IMPROVEMENTS, bug fixes, and tweaks to make the IES platform more powerful.
