The purpose of this overview document is to give you a highlight of the core features that are included in these releases along with additional improvements and fixes that were also made.
HIGHLIGHTS OF NEW FEATURES
GENERATE PRODUCT DIRECT TO CHECKOUT LINK AND/OR BUTTON
With the ability to generate a product checkout link and/or button, users are able to utilize outside platforms and pages/websites to capture customers and send them directly to the first step of checkout with a particular product or product set already in their order flow. This is a powerful streamlined way to get a customer directly to checkout with the product and leaves no room for distractions or leakage.
This feature can be found within the ‘More Actions’ option of a particular product from the Products Dashboard. Upon selecting this option, the user can select different product variants that have been previously created for the product. The user can adjust the button title, copy the checkout link, as well as copy the HTML code of the ‘buy now’ button.
CASH ON DELIVERY PAYMENT METHOD OPTION
With Cash on Delivery, users are able to enable this payment option on their stores which allows store customers to place an order without paying with the credit card or PayPal. The customer pays cash directly to the courier person or vendor only after the product is delivered. Enabling the Cash on Delivery (COD) payment option allows store owners to cater to a wider audience base.
This feature can be found within the Main Store Settings of a specific store, under Integrations, under Payment. Upon selecting the Payment tile, the dropdown consists of all payment options available and COD as the first default option.
HIGHLIGHTS OF IMPROVEMENT & FIXES
ERROR WHEN IMPORTING REVIEWS
Some users were receiving an error when uploading a .CSV file while importing reviews although it was the correct file format. This issue has been resolved.
SUBMITTING REVIEWS
Some users were having issues while submitting reviews in regards to the reCaptcha. This has since been fixed up.
AND A FEW OTHER IMPROVEMENTS, bug fixes, and tweaks to make the store builder platform more powerful.
