Google translate is easy to add to the store's website. It is well worth using because it allows visitors from around the world to shop for products and read content in their own language.

Please note: this will only work when accessing the store's front end from a desktop and/or in mobile using FULL SITE mode (the Google translate widget will not appear in mobile mode. Please see screen shots below the steps for reference)

1. Here is the Google translate script that you need to copy:

<div id="google_translate_element"></div>

<script type="text/javascript">

function googleTranslateElementInit() {

  new google.translate.TranslateElement({pageLanguage: 'en', layout: google.translate.TranslateElement.InlineLayout.HORIZONTAL}, 'google_translate_element');

}

</script>

<script type="text/javascript" src="//translate.google.com/translate_a/element.js?cb=googleTranslateElementInit"></script>

2. Go to your Main Store Settings and click on Custom scripts

3. Paste the Google Translate script in the SCRIPTS AFTER <Body> then click on SAVE CHANGES button

4. The Google Translate widget should now be present at the top of your store builder's website

Please note continued: if users are visiting the store from a mobile device, the store is displayed by default in mobile mode as seen here:

If visitors access the Full Site mode from their mobile devices (as shown in the screen shot above), then the Google Translate widget will appear:
